Personal Performance: Empowering Individual Growth

At Tset, we have implemented a system for tracking personal performance that encourages self-reflection and meaningful conversations between employees and their managers. 

Our commitment to personal performance begins from day one. As part of the onboarding process, new employees are encouraged to set their 1-month and 3-month goals. This practice helps new team members quickly align with our performance-driven culture and sets a foundation for their future growth.

Once the onboarding phase concludes, we transition to a bi-annual review system. These personal evaluations occur twice a year for all team members, thereby ensuring structured and comprehensive assessment. In individual performance tracking, we focus on key areas such as:

  • Reflecting on past work
  • Setting personal goals
  • Addressing any changes in position or responsibilities

We have designed these personal performance reviews as a collaborative effort, where employees engage in thoughtful self-reflection on their own performance, while managers offer their informed perspective on the employee's work.

OKRs: Aligning Department and Company Goals

To ensure that everyone is working towards the same vision, we utilize Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Our OKR system examines our long-term outlook, starting from our 10-year vision, and breaks it down into actionable steps that define our company-wide 1-year objectives and ultimately shape quarterly department-specific targets. This structure allows us to maintain a clear focus on our long-term vision while remaining agile and responsive to short-term needs and market changes. 

Tailored Approaches for Different Teams

At Tset, we recognize that different teams have unique needs when it comes to goal tracking. For example, our engineering teams employ an agile setup with sprints and pipeline planning, while service and customer success teams focus on project- and customer-based goals. This flexibility ensures that each team can work efficiently while still contributing to our overall company objectives.

Weekly Intros

These alignments are held every Monday morning, providing a platform for sharing important updates and news. The goal is to keep everyone informed about collective progress and challenges.

Townhall Meetings

For significant announcements or company-wide discussions, we schedule company-wide Townhall meetings. In these sessions, our team shares strategic insights, reflects on achieved results, and celebrates wins.

By supporting open communication across all levels of the organization, we ensure that every team member feels connected to our mission and understands how their work contributes to our shared goals.
